Divine Favor mechanics or "How do I get the gods involved in the adventure."

One of the important elements of Narosia is divine interaction. The Enaros, Narosian gods, are very real entities within the world, and are they are most interested in the affairs of heroes. As we designed Narosia developing a mechanic (Divine Favor) to capture this element was fundamental to the Narosia experience.
Our solution was to provide the players with the ability to control the narrative through divine action. This system would also serve as a "fate point" mechanic of sorts, although as many players will tell you the gods are indeed fickle.
The result are adventures that are intertwined with divine intervention and plots that suddenly grow far beyond the machinations of a would-be villain. As the characters grow in power and influence, so too does the level of divine intervention.
We think this will introduce a new dynamic to your adventure and become a feature of the game that, fickle though it may be, you truly enjoy.
